Lloyd Nelson III is Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Digital Assets at Howden, a global insurance and risk advisory firm, where he leads strategy at the intersection of insurance, digital assets, and emerging technology.
With more than 15 years of experience building and scaling technology companies, Lloyd brings a unique perspective spanning entrepreneurship, institutional risk, blockchain, fintech, and financial services. At Howden, he is advancing new approaches to digital asset insurance, blockchain-based risk transfer, tokenization, and on-chain insurance infrastructure.
Lloyd regularly engages with technology leaders, financial institutions, policymakers, and blockchain ecosystems on the role of risk management in enabling responsible innovation and institutional adoption.
He also serves as President of the University of Texas at Arlington College of Business Advisory Board and speaks around the world on emerging technology, innovation, and the future of risk.
